Farmers participating in our project test thermal imaging in their everyday work and collect valuable user experience. We test thermal cameras also in our two experimental farms. Based on this information we will develop an information package including instructions about how and when thermal imaging can be used in cattle healthcare and guidelines for the interpretation of thermal images. You can read about our news and findings from our blog and the links to our main results in English will be published here in this page. If you need more information please do not hesitate to contact us.

Our result are now ready and you can find them here (in Finnish). Abstract in English.

We also developed short instructions for using thermal imaging for monitoring hoof health and detecting milk fever.
